2007 Fair Awards
Presented January 2008
The Fentress County Fair in Jamestown was named the Champion of Champions Fair for 2007 during the annual convention of the Tenn. Assn. of Fairs in January 17-19, 2008. Numerous other awards were also announced. The awards are sponsored annually by this Department and the TAF, the state organization representing Tennessee’s fair industry.
Over 50 of the state’s top county and regional fairs were recognized with the prestigious “Award of Merit” based on overall fair operations, education and promotion of agriculture, educational value, and community spirit. Other winners were:

The Dekalb, Middle Tennessee District, and Coffee County fairs will compete in November 2007 for State Champion of Champions for 2008. Winners will be announced at the TAF 87th annual convention, January 15-17, 2009, in Nashville.
