Additional Information:
Our family operates a 130 acre mostly grass based sheep operation. We started with 9 sheep and now breed between 130 and 150 ewes a year. We have three purebred breeds - Romneys, Cotswolds and Shetlands. All three of the breeds are considered dual purpose breeds, and the Cotswolds and Shetlands are classed as Rare Breeds. We market breeding stock, market animals and LOTS of fleece. We produce close to a ton of wool a year. We sell raw fleece, washed locks, washed and dyed locks and roving. We also have small amounts of yarn and finished products (shawls, scarfs, etc) available. Our roving is produced on farm!
We also sell lamb for custom processing. Lambs are mostly grass fed with no added hormones. Available in whole or halves.
