Additional Information: Our farm has been family owned and operated since Chris England purchased it over 25 years ago. After years of eating his own farm raised meat, the idea of opening up a small meat processing plant came to him. After years of construction, Down Home Processing opened for business in 2015 and soon after became a certified USDA processing plant. Down Home Processing and the farm along with it is operated by Chris and his children.
