On a hill outside the town of Humboldt in Gibson County, the vineyards of Crown Winery, LLC stretch to the south and west and create a stunning backdrop to the Tuscany-style villa. The winery is a unique combination of necessity, science, and renewable energy. The wine production and storage area is built into the hill, which provides natural cooling through the fierce heat of the Tennessee summers. A large solar system generates power to this building and the connecting villa, which provides a majestic haven for weddings and private parties as well as the traditional tasting room and retail area.
We welcome you to enjoy a tour of the vineyard and winery. Stay awhile, savor our wines, browse the gift shop and be sure to visit Eric Botbyl's pottery studio and gallery located in the heart of the vineyard. Crown Winery also offers vineyard and farm weddings and receptions.
Our standard hours of operation are from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM however our hours are flexible and subject to change. Open by appointment only during January and February, so call 731-784-4666 or e-mail Thecrownwinery@aol.com to schedule your visit.
Please check our calendar for special events and early closings. Winery retail will be closed to the public for private parties & wedding rentals. Come see us. Directions: From I-40 turn in Jackson, TN on Exit 80 B North to Humboldt. Turn Right on the 45 Bypass in Humboldt at the first redlight onto Hwy East 152 (E. Mitchell St.). Go up the hill, around the corner. Winery is on the right about 1/2 mile from the 45 bypass in Humboldt.
