Additional Information: Chickasaw Country Store and Cafe is a vintage diner and specialty food store located near Chickasaw State Park. The diner specializes in regional dishes offering Venison Chili, Chocolate Gravy and Biscuits, BBQ Pulled Pork with our own smoky Dr Pepper BBQ Sauce, chicken and drop biscuit chicken and dumplings every Sunday. We serve hearty catfish platters every Friday and Saturday night served up with seasoned white beans, tangy slaw, hush puppies and local folk music. We have a large selection of homemade desserts including Dixie Lee’s Cheesecake, chocolate Coca Cola cake, strawberry-rhubarb cobbler and our vintage, Coconut Custard Pie. We make our own jams and jellies and offer traditional fruit jellies such as Muscadine Grape and strawberry, and we have some unconventional favorites such as Mountain Dew Jelly. We have a nice selection of local honey and fresh roasted coffee including our Vanilla Bourbon Coffee and Pecan Pie flavors. Being across the road from Chickasaw State Park, we’re a popular stop for campers, deer hunters and locals looking for a home cooked meal. We are the heart of the community and pride ourselves on southern hospitality and affordable amazing food.
