Additional Information: The Kraken’s Cup is East Tennessee’s premier full-service, English-style tearoom and restaurant! Offering seating for up to 64 guests in our two distinctive dining areas, we are the ideal venue for lunches, parties, showers, meetings, and beyond. After over 10 years of dreaming and preparing, the owner was finally able to find a space and bring it to life in 2023. Many hurdles, including a pandemic and construction delays, slowed down the process, but this whimsical space is continually being added to and expanded to provide an oasis for everyone to enjoy their tea and tiny sandwiches within. This tearoom is nestled in the back of an unassuming courtyard in the middle of the Food City shopping center, between Big Lots and Harbor Freight, and has already begun to establish itself as a hub for the community, with weekly events and collaborations with other local businesses. It is currently seeking to expand and improve its menu by partnering with local tea blenders, honey providers, and (very soon) farms or markets to provide guests with food that supports the local economy.
