Pick Your Own: You pick Blackberries
Additional Information: Our interest to operate a blackberry farm started when we were children, picking blackberries for our mothers to make Blackberry Cobblers! In 2010 we planted our first blackberry plants and began our journey with our first harvest in 2011. We wanted to offer our blackberries on the farm as a you-pick experience plus simply having our customers drive up to the farm and purchase on-farm. We think there is a real interest in our customer community to know where their food originates and to get to know the farmers themselves. We love opening our farm to the public during our blackberry season (usually June and July each year) and we also love taking our fruit overflow to our local Farmers Markets. We also have homemade Blackberry Seedless Jams to sell all year.
