From the stage to the stove, making chocolates and desserts was the real dream of singer, songwriter and featured cast member of the long running television show Hee Haw, Mackenzie Colt. In 1984, Mackenzie started her company creating specialty chocolates and comfort desserts. Everything at Colts is handmade in small batches. The award winning Colts Bolts (the very first chocolate created at Colts) is layered with peanut butter, whole roasted almonds and covered with milk or dark chocolate. Marie McGhee's Bumble Bees, Truffle Babies, Smoked and Bella Bark are just some of the beautiful, specialty chocolates. Colts also makes unique handmade desserts such as Salted Caramel Gooey Butter Bars, White Chocolate Pecan Pie, All-Butter Chess Pie, and Fudge Pie.
