Additional Information: Nestled in the heart of charming Rock Island, you'll find a sustainable, ecological, diverse, regenerative family farm with a strong permaculture influence. Mill Rock Farms sits at the intersection of Great Falls Rd. and Rock Island Rd. just a half mile from Rock Island State Park. Our on-farm store is open weekends April through November, stocking our organically raised pastured chicken, turkey, eggs, lamb, fruits and vegetables grown right here, by us. Our sheep are the heart of our fiber business with roving, raw fleece, finished yarns and wool fiber products available. We also carry food products, personal care and home decor items from like-minded local businesses! On-farm pickup is available by appointment and we have a seasonal honor stand open daily. Solar power, rainwater catchment, rotational grazing, composting, and nutrient and resource cycling are hallmarks here!
