Additional Information: Hello my name is Sarah and I would like to take a moment to introduce our farm. Over the years many people have asked questions about our farm and its activities. I am here to provide clear answers and share our experiences. Our farm has a rich history and has gone through many changes which has shaped who we are today. We hope to connect with you and provide insight into our journey and the work we do. Jonathan's family has a long history in Cheatham County dating back to the late 1700s. His great-grandfather known as Papa Hun played an important role in this legacy by cultivating Dark Fired Tobacco and other crops. This hard work laid the foundation for future generations to follow in his footsteps. Billy Williams his grandfather known by his nickname Hoss Apple played a vital role in preserving traditional farming techniques. He dedicated much of his time to teaching the younger generation about methods that are often forgotten today. His knowledge of the land and its processes was invaluable to those who learned from him. To pay tribute to his legacy and the important lessons he shared we decided to name our farm Hoss Apple Farm. This name serves as a reminder of the skills and values he passed down. The 80-acre farm now belongs to his parents who love farming and put their hearts into it. Every day they work hard to keep the land thriving. Right now we grow hay and a mix of other crops that fill the fields with color and life. The farm is not just a piece of land; it’s a place where dreams take root. Each season brings new challenges and rewards making every moment on the farm whooping, In the heart of Pleasant View we proudly run a 1-acre micro farm in addition to the family farm. Every bit of our land is filled with juicy tomatoes and sweet strawberries. We love the vibrant colors and fresh smells that come from our plants. Besides fruits we also make delightful soaps and scrumptious pies that everyone enjoys. Each day on the farm is a new adventure and we can’t wait to share our harvest with you! See you this Spring!
